Forest and Farm Facility (FFF)
Purpose
of the FFF Project.
The Forest
and Farm Facility (FFF) initiative is to improve FFPOs advocacy, production,
value addition and marketing activities. Ultimately, it will foster better and
more equitable access to social and cultural services, boost entrepreneurship
and improve access to markets, finance and business services.
Objectives
The
overall objective of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) under the
letter of Agreement (LoA) with the Kenya National Farmers’ Federation (KENAFF),
is to support to capacity Farm Forestry Producer Organizations (FFPOs) in Farm
Forestry Market Information System (FFMIS), and Communication for Development
(ComDev).This one-year project that began in the month of March 2024, targets
six counties in Kenya:
