Programme /Project Development Objective (PDO)

Predict and prepare countries for, and prevent, plant health threats reducing crop losses and comprehensively support countries and farmers to grow the quantity and quality of food required in a changing climate

Key components/ main activities

Objective 2: Increase supply of safer food through enterprises driven by women and youth to meet growing demand by consumers in rural, urban and peri-urban markets;
Objective 3: KENAFF supports: assessing existing rural and peri-urban employment initiatives to explore job opportunities for women and youth in producer- oriented agricultural service provision; and building the capacity of young men and women as agricultural service providers.
