The KENAFF CLA Programme is an ambitious and comprehensive initiative designed to empower agricultural entrepreneurs at the county level in Kenya. The program aims to equip participants with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to succeed in the dynamic and competitive agribusiness sector. The primary objective of the training programme is to enhance the capacity of agribusiness entrepreneurs, enabling them to effectively manage their enterprises, increase productivity, and access market opportunities. By focusing on the county level, the program recognizes the importance of local context and tailors the training to address specific challenges and opportunities in each county.

The training curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including business planning and management, financial literacy, marketing and branding, value chain analysis, agri-input management, climate-smart agriculture, and sustainable farming practices. Participants receive both theoretical and practical training, allowing them to apply their learning directly to their own agricultural enterprises.Mentorship plays a vital role in the program, with experienced agribusiness professionals providing guidance and support to participants. Mentors share their expertise, offer insights into industry trends, and assist participants in developing effective strategies for growth and success.
