In a bid to enhance the capacity of KENAFF leaders, the Second Member Mobilization Workshop was held on Wednesday April 26 to Friday April 28 at the Farmers’ Conference Center in Thogoto, Kikuyu.

The three-day event, which was facilitated by the Andreas Hermes Akademie (AHA) trainers, aimed at enhancing the capacity of KENAFF leaders at all levels to strengthen grassroots KENAFF membership (and membership revenue) for a stronger, influential and respected federation, under the operationalization of pillar 2 (member services) of the KENAFF strategic plan 2022-2026 (Watering the Tree for Growth).

The KENAFF strategic plan 2022-2026 (Watering the Tree for Growth) pillar two aims to enhance demand driven member services along the agricultural sector value chains. As KENAFF becomes stronger and influential at county and national levels, it is expected that farmers shall become more informed and knowledgeable; more engaging with county governments; and more likely to stand together to demand their rights.
