April 22 every year, we come together to celebrate our planet and to reflect on the actions we can take to preserve it for generations to come. This year, we focused on the theme “Invest in Our Planet,” which highlighted the importance of investing in sustainable solutions to combat the threat of climate change.

At KENAFF, we recognize the urgency of climate change and the critical role that farmers play in mitigating its effects. On February 11, 2022 we launched the KENAFF Farm Forestry and Afforestation Programme (2021 – 2030), which is a commitment by the farmers of Kenya to plant and nurture 10 billion trees over ten (10) years.

Through this programme, we encourage everyone to play their part in the fight against climate change.
