Membership Structure

KENAFF draws its membership from four member categories namely; Self Help Farmer Groups (SHGs) also known as CIGs, Cooperative Societies, Commodity Associations and Farming Firms. As such KENAFF does not admit individuals as members but the different categories do.

Launching of Kenya Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (KeFAAS)

Kenya Forum for Agricultural Advisory Services (KeFAAS) is one of AFAAS country chapter across Africa. It was officially launched on 22nd may 2015 at Green Hills Nyeri.  AFAAS was represented by Max Olupot, Technical Assistant of the Executive Director, in charge of Partnership.

Mainstreaming Human Rights and Cross-cutting Issues in the Agricultural and Natural Resource Sectors in Kenya-Phase II

KENAFF is implementing phase two of mainstreaming Human Right Based Approach and cross-cutting issues in the agricultural and natural resource sector in Kenya. The Human Rights Based Approach is supported by Embassy of Finland. The Programme covers a period of 1 year and it seeks to empower farmers through mainstreaming rights-based approach in KENAFF and its affiliate farmer organizations. This intervention seeks to identify and effectively package the relevant human rights concerns affecting the resource poor smallholder farming communities in Kenya.

Farmers’ Voice: Improving Food Security Governance in East Africa Final Evaluation Report

This report presents the findings, conclusions and lessons learned of the evaluation of the ‘Farmers' Voice: Improving Security Governance in East Africa’ programme. The Farmers’ Voice programme (funded by the European Union and Agriterra) was coordinated by Trias Uganda, and implemented in partnership with the Eastern Africa Farmers' Federation (Associate) and four national farmer organizations in three countries: UNFFE and UCA in Uganda, KENAFF in Kenya and MVIWATA in Tanzania. Nine of their members implemented the programme at sub‐national level.

Through the Support to Farmer Organization in Africa Program (SFOAP) 2 women  groups and 1 youth group in Kiambu County are beneficiaries of  clean seeds and inputs.

KENAFF has been implementing the Kenya Agricultural Value Chain Enterprises (KAVES) project in 4 counties; Tran Nzoia, Uasin Gishu, Nandi and Elgeyo Marakwet.

FACT 4 Budget

FACT4Budget project is supported by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs through Agriterra It runs through from October 2013 and December 2014.
